Do Not Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Play!

If you like to have a beverage occasionally, keep your cash at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and chequebooks at home. Only take whatever cash you intend to spend on alcohol, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to burn and keep the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You might have a profit following a intoxicated evening out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to hook a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you always drink alcohol and bet. The two just don’t go well together.

Keeping your cash back at the hotel is a bit excessive, but preventative measures for excessive actions is essential. If you play to win, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a worry, then consume all the complimentary beer your stomach are able to handle, but don’t take credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your hooched up brain loses all the cash!

Permit me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then head online to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condo, but seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and bet.

How come? Although I do not consume alcohol a lot, when I drink alcohol, it is certainly enough to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink when betting. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. When mixed, both create a decimating, and crazy, drink.
